The Lou Huber Leadership Society is a select community of donors named after Neighborhood Houses’ first Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Louis V. Huber, serving from 1947 to 1985. Neighborhood Houses is heir to the bold vision of Rev. Dr. Louis Huber and his desire to sustain families and partner with them to create a better future.
As a listed member of the Lou Huber Leadership Society, you will demonstrate your personal commitment to the ideals and principles of Dr. Huber’s “romance of serving people” and by example, encourage others to do the same. Annual membership in the Lou Huber Leadership Society is open for donors who contribute $1,000 or more within the calendar year. Gifts are accepted in many forms, including contributions of cash, charitable gift annuities or charitable remainder trusts. These gifts may be given all at once, or paid in monthly installments as a pledge. Lou Huber Leadership Society members can allocate their contribution to unrestricted funds, allowing Neighborhood Houses to fund projects of immediate importance for our neediest families. Whatever the amount or designation, the support of Lou Huber Leadership Society members continues to advance Neighborhood Houses.
